SMU PERSADAMU proudly presents How Did The Cat Get So Fat?, a play that is is part parable, part Alice in Wonderland tale, that delivers satire that is both sharp and sensitive to contemporary mores. It will introduce characters and scenes that correspond to the themes apparent in our national pledge – Race, Religion, Prosperity, Progress, and seek to address questions of equality, materialism and nationalism, coupled with psychedelic visuals and fantastical encounters. Presented in Malay with surtitles in English for non-Malay-speaking audience.
